Using it in class
Everyone gets a turn
This is on by default, and it is the setting that matters. A picker that can land on the same child three times running is a picker the class stops believing in. Here a name is set aside once it has been picked, until the round starts again.
Groups that are actually even
22 children into 4 groups gives 6, 6, 5, 5 — not 5, 5, 5, 7. You can name two children who should not work together, lock a group you are happy with and reshuffle the rest.
Your class stays yours
The names are saved in this browser and nowhere else. There is no account, no sync and no request to any server — so there is nothing for us to see, lose or sell. Clear class removes them completely, and Initials only keeps a board that visitors can see to A.S. rather than a full name.
